Spain welcomes US peace plan proposal to end war in Gaza

Spain welcomes the US peace plan proposal to end the war in Gaza and calls on the parties to commit to ending the violence. 

Spain calls for every effort to be made in negotiations to end the war and reiterates its demand for a permanent ceasefire, the release of all hostages and the​ mass entry of humanitarian aid to halt suffering that has already lasted too long.

The Government reiterates its support for efforts to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East, based on the implementation of the two-State solution.
