The Spanish Government welcomes the arrival of a 30,000-tonne shipment of wheat that reached Yemen on 17 April. The aid was financed by Spain, the United States and France and chartered by the World Food Programme through the "Grain from Ukraine" initiative.
Spain reiterates its full support to the Yemeni political process and the role of the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg. Spain also welcomes the prisoner exchange sponsored by the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as the involvement of Saudi Arabia and Oman in the process.
