Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares met with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamie Greer, alongside Carlos Cuerpo and Manuel de la Rocha, to discuss the close bilateral relationship between Spain and the United States and address key global issues.
In Madrid, Minister Albares also received China's Vice Premier He Lifeng, as both parties hold a round of commercial negotiations.
Spain reaffirms its commitment to peace, dialogue, free trade, and international cooperation, and is honored by the trust shown by both the U.S. and China in choosing Spain as a venue for these discussions.
