Spain sends a new plane with medical supplies to Ukraine

The plane is carrying 300 kg (approximately 660 pounds) of medical supplies to Ukraine and will pick up eight Ukrainian war wounded in Poland and transfer them to Spain.

At 09:35 AM today, a C-295 Air and Space Army aircraft took off from Spain for Poland. An aero-medical evacuation team, a translator and various support staff were on board.

The plane was carrying 300 kg of medical equipment, consisting of individual combat kits and respirators. In Poland, the equipment will be delivered to the Ukrainian authorities who had requested it, and will be used to increase capacities to care for the war wounded.

This flight demonstrates Spain's commitment to providing continuous assistance to Ukraine, which goes beyond military material support.
