The Ambassador, Jose Pascual Marco, and the Minister, Deputy Ian Gorst, discussed issues of common interest, and agreed to keep communication open in order to strengthen relations.
The head of the Spanish representation also expressed his willingness to continue visiting the islands to honour the memory of the Republicans killed and enslaved by the Nazis during the Second World War, particularly in view of the 80th anniversary of the liberation.
