Deputy Ambassador Jorge Cabrera praised the work of Spanish wineries and highlighted the importance of the British market for Spanish wines and cavas, which are now amongst the top choices for British consumers.
Following this, Master of Wine Jonas Tofterup led a tasting in which the wineries explained the characteristics of their wines, their production processes and the stories behind them.
The wines and cavas offered were:
