Minister Albares confirmed that the teams are already in contact to explore priority areas, as well as a viable and effective monitoring mechanism.
At the meeting, held at Carlton Gardens, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs also discussed the United Kingdom's relations with the European Union and welcomed the agreement on Gibraltar, which they are working to bring into force as soon as possible.
Albares and Cooper pledged to continue supporting Ukraine and defended the implementation of the two-state solution as the only possible way to achieve a fair and lasting peace.
