The Royal Horticultural Society celebrates Christmas at the Embassy

The organization is the UK's leading institution in the field of botany and horticulture

Ambassador José Pascual Marco highlighted the tradition and work of the RHS, as well as the contributions of its patrons. Ambassador Marco also alluded to the close connection between British society and its gardens, plants, and landscapes.​

Clare Matteson, Director General of the institution, reviewed the working year and encouraged those present to continue supporting the organization.

The Royal Horticultural Society, founded in 1804, is dedicated to various fields within botany, owns several gardens throughout the United Kingdom, and organizes events such as the renowned Chelsea Flower Show.
