The Ambassador visited the newsroom and met with the Editor, Tony Gallagher, along with various members of the editorial board, including the Foreign and Diplomatic Editors.
During the meeting, they talked about Spain, the United Kingdom, our bilateral agenda, and the challenges facing the world, in particular, the situation in Ukraine.
The conversation revealed the great importance of the bilateral relationship, both from a commercial as well as a human point of view, with a large presence of Britons in Spain and Spaniards in the United Kingdom.
The visit to The Times is part of the Embassy's relations with the main British media and opinion leaders.
