Declaración conjunta con motivo de la 30ª edición del Festival del Orgullo de Budapest

Con motivo de la 30ª edición del Festival del Orgullo de Budapest, las embajadas e institutos culturales abajo firmantes reafirmamos nuestro apoyo a las personas lesbianas, gays, bisexuales, transgénero, intersexuales y queer (LGBTIQ+) de Hungría y de todo el mundo. Defendemos los derechos de todas las personas a la igualdad de trato y a la no discriminación, a la libertad de expresión y de reunión pacífica y a la protección frente a la violencia verbal y física, recogidos en la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos.
Elogiamos la labor de los defensores de los derechos humanos, activistas, periodistas y organizaciones de la sociedad civil que trabajan para garantizar que todas las personas, independientemente de su orientación sexual, identidad o expresión de género o características sexuales, reciban el mismo trato y la plena protección de la ley.
Durante más de tres décadas, la marcha del Orgullo de Budapest ha sido un símbolo de resistencia y progreso que refleja el papel vital de las personas LGBTIQ+ en el desarrollo de la democracia. Mientras el Orgullo de Budapest celebra este hito, nos mantenemos firmes en nuestro compromiso con un futuro en el que todas las personas puedan vivir libremente, con amor y ORGULLO.

Joint Statement on the occasion of the 30th Budapest Pride Festival

On the 30th occasion of the Budapest Pride Festival, we, the undersigned embassies and cultural institutes, reaffirm our support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) persons in Hungary and around the world. We stand for every person's rights to equal treatment and non-discrimination, freedom of expression and peaceful assembly and protection from verbal and physical violence, as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
We commend the advocacy of human rights defenders, activists, journalists and civil society organizations working to ensure that all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or sex characteristics, receive equal treatment and the full protection of the law.
For more than three decades, the Budapest Pride March has been a symbol of resilience and progress, reflecting the vital role of LGBTIQ+ persons in the further development of democracy. As Budapest Pride celebrates this milestone, we stand firm in our commitment to a future where all individuals can live freely, with love and PRIDE.

Közös nyilatkozat a 30. Budapest Pride Fesztivál alkalmából

A 30. Budapest Pride Fesztivál alkalmából, mi, alulírott nagykövetségek és kulturális intézetek, újfent megerősítjük támogatásunkat a Magyarországon és a világ többi részén élő leszbikus, meleg, biszexuális, transznemű, interszexuális és queer (LMBTIQ+) emberek iránt. Kiállunk minden ember egyenlő bánásmódhoz és megkülönböztetés mentességhez való joga, a véleménynyilvánítás és a békés gyülekezés szabadsága, valamint a szóbeli és fizikai erőszakkal szembeni védelme mellett, ahogyan azt az Emberi Jogok Egyetemes Nyilatkozata is rögzíti.
Elismeréssel adózunk a jogvédők, aktivisták, újságírók és civil szervezetek érdekképviseleti munkája előtt, akik azon dolgoznak, hogy minden egyén egyenlő bánásmódban és teljes körű jogi védelemben részesüljön, szexuális irányultságtól, nemi identitástól, nemi önkifejezéstől vagy nemi jellemzőktől függetlenül.
Több mint három évtizede a Budapest Pride Felvonulás a kitartás és a haladás jelképévé vált, tükrözve az LMBTIQ+ emberek nélkülözhetetlen szerepét a demokrácia előmozdításában. Miként a Budapest Pride ezt a jeles pillanatot ünnepli, mi határozottan kiállunk egy olyan jövő mellett, ahol minden egyén szabadon élhet, szeretetben és BÜSZKESÉGGEL.
