Diplomatic accreditation and consular domain
The Embassy of Spain in Abuja is charged with the diplomatic relations of Spain with the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Equally, it is in charge of relations with the Republic of Benin, as well as with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Consular affairs fall within the purview of the Consulate General of Spain in Lagos, whose area of jurisdiction includes the whole of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
