The Fifth Ministerial Conference follows on from the meetings held, respectively, in Germany in 2022, the Netherlands in 2023, Mexico in 2024 and France in 2025. This year’s meeting will explore how supporting the rights and leadership of women can help defend the rule of law and a rules-based international system, fostering responsible multilateralism that addresses current challenges and a full commitment to human rights, peace and social, environmental, economic and gender justice, including the right to sustainable development.
The Fifth Ministerial Conference on Feminist Foreign Policy and Gender Equality will also draw on Spain’s experience in its key role as host of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, held in June 2025.
