She currently leads the area responsible for advising on public international law in conflict and post‑conflict contexts. In this role:
  • Advises on general issues of public international law, particularly international human rights law and international humanitarian law.
  • Oversees accountability mechanisms and international and hybrid criminal tribunals (ICC, ICTY, ICTR, MICT, SCSL, ECCC, STL)​.
  • Leads tribunal closure and transition processes and negotiates international agreements and judicial cooperation frameworks.
  • Manages teams, human resources, and budgets.​
UNITAD  
UNITAD – Iraq​ 

Acting Special Adviser and Head of Mission​
As Head of UNITAD, she led a team of 240 staff and a budget of 30 million USD during the mission’s final phase.
  • Concluded criminal investigations and analytical reports, and issued legal findings on war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide allegedly committed by ISIL (Da’esh) in Iraq, for potential use in fair and independent criminal proceedings.
  • Reviewed evidence previously collected, preserved, and stored by her team​.
  • Reported to the UN Security Council, both orally and in writing.
  • Defined the mission’s final strategy and managed its drawdown and liquidation.​

  • Leads the legal team responsible for advising on international humanitarian, criminal, human rights, and refugee law in conflict and post‑conflict settings.

  • PhD in Public International Law.
  • Holds two master’s degrees in law and has received multiple scholarships, grants, and academic awards, including the Prix Suzanne Bastid of the S.F.D.I.
