New round of entrance exams to Diplomatic Career

The Official State Gazette has published, on 31 December 2022, the call for applications to the Diplomatic Career 2022. There will be thirty free access positions, two of which will be reserved for people with disabilities.

The call for applications offers an opportunity to join the Spanish Foreign Service to all those who are passionate about diplomacy and foreign service and who also have a vocation for public service.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation has a programme of aid in place to prepare the exercises making up the entrance exam, so that family income or place of residence are not an impediment for access to the Diplomatic Career.

The last few graduating classes of diplomats has been gender-balanced, which shows the vocation of the Diplomatic Career to be inclusive, representative of the diversity of Spanish society, and also egalitarian.
