Spain hosts trade talks between the US and China

​Representatives of the two countries will discuss their trade relationship during a round of negotiations at the Santa Cruz Palace, headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation​

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, received this Sunday, 14 September, at the Santa Cruz Palace, the Ministry's headquarters, delegations from the United States and China, who have travelled to Spain for a round of trade negotiations.

The Spanish Government wishes to thank both countries for having chosen Madrid as the venue for this bilateral meeting and reiterates its full involvement and collaboration with both delegations in the organisation of the event.

Spanish foreign policy supports diplomacy and negotiation to achieve understanding between nations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation is a bridge for rapprochement and dialogue, and is pleased to have been chosen as the venue for this round of negotiations.
