Under the slogan #DiplomaciaParaLaPaz, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, is bringing together the 130 Spanish ambassadors accredited around the world and to international organisations, for the most important annual diplomacy meeting.

Albares, who will speak at the opening and closing sessions, will present the priorities and main lines of foreign policy for the coming years, with special attention given to the lessons learned and the results of the recently concluded Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The 2024 Ambassadors Conference will also be attended by the Ministers of Economy, Commerce and Business, Carlos Cuerpo; Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu; Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska; and Defence, Margarita Robles.

There will also be working groups with the participation of the State Secretaries of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, and the directors of AECID and the Cervantes Institute, among others. This edition will also include the participation of the Secretary-General of the SEGIB (Ibero-American General Secretariat), Andrés Allamand.
