Spain welcomes holding of talks between Venezuelan authorities and democratic opposition

We welcome the holding of talks between the Venezuelan authorities and representatives of the democratic opposition, aimed at creating the necessary conditions for strengthening institutions and restoring democratic normality, as well as addressing the country’s needs in the wake of the devastating earthquakes.

Spain reiterates its willingness to support Venezuela in this process, as well as in the country’s reconstruction.
