Spanish Government welcomes ceasefire agreement reached in Syria to end fighting in Aleppo

The Spanish Government welcomes the ceasefire agreement reached to end the violent fighting in Aleppo between the Syrian Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces, and urges the parties to comply with it and to resume dialogue to implement the agreement reached on 10 March 2025.

Spain reiterates its support for the Sy​rian people in achieving a peaceful and inclusive political transition that respects the unity and territorial integrity of Syria.
