Spanish Government condemns Iran’s attack on Bahrain

The Spanish Government condemns Iran’s attack on the Kingdom of Bahrain and expresses its solidarity with Bahrain in the face of this unjustified violation of international law and of Bahrain’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Spain urges the parties to comply with the terms agreed in the memorandum of understanding, which offers an opportunity to de-escalate regional violence and reach a negotiated resolution to the crisis.

The Spanish Government will continue to support all efforts aimed at consolidating stability, security and peace in the region.
