Spain condemns M23 offensive in eastern DRC

Spain condemns the M23 offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law. Spain defends the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the DRC. 

In view of the serious humanitarian situation, Spain demands the immediate cessation of the offensive, the withdrawal from the territories over which the M23 has taken control and the resumption of dialogue within the framework of the Luanda and Nairobi processes.
