Condemnation of attack in East Jerusalem

Spain strongly condemns the terrorist attack in East Jerusalem, which this morning left at least five people dead, one of them a Spanish national, and a dozen injured.

The Government wishes to express its solidarity and convey its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, especially those of the Spanish citizen who was killed, and to express its hope that the injured will recover as soon as possible.

Spain reiterates its commitment to peace in the Middle East and its strongest condemnation of terrorism.
