The Spanish Government congratulates the Panamanian people on the conduct of the presidential elections.

The Spanish Government reiterates its commitment to continue to deepen the existing fraternal ties between the Spanish and Panamanian peoples and wishes to convey to the President-elect, José Raúl Mulino, its willingness to continue to deepen bilateral relations between the two countries and the fruitful cooperation in favour of our societies and the Ibero-American Community of Nations for the benefit of our citizens.
