Government of Spain expresses its unconditional support for President Lula

The Government of Spain expresses its unconditional support for President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, democratically elected by the Brazilian people and proclaimed the country’s legitimate president by the competent electoral authorities of Brazil.

We wish to express our rejection of any initiative or attitude that seeks to question the democratic process in Brazil by those sectors that do not wish to accept the election results, which stem from the will of the Brazilian people.
