The Government of Spain congratulates the people and Government of Angola on the general elections held on 24 August, the results of which were ratified by the Constitutional Court of Angola yesterday, and which unfolded in a peaceful climate of normality.
Spain, on the occasion of this important democratic exercise by the friendly nation of Angola, declares its firm will to continue working with the new government, headed up by President Joâo Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, to promote the close bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation that unite our two countries.
