Spain does not recognise the supposed “presidential elections” organised by the separatist authorities in the Georgian region of Tskhinvali/South Ossetia, held on 10 April 2022.

Spain reiterates and reaffirms its firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within the framework of its recognised international borders.
