30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations with Armenia

​The government welcomes the excellent development of our bilateral relations over the course of these last 30 years, during which time sound political relations have been forged and economic and cultural exchanges have been stepped up, resulting in better knowledge and greater proximity between our peoples.

Spain wishes to harness this anniversary to give a renewed and decisive boost to relations at both a bilateral level and through the European Union, particularly within the framework of the Eastern Partnership.

On this important occasion for our bilateral relations, the Government of Spain expresses its wishes for peace, wellbeing and prosperity for the friendly nation of Armenia.
