On Monday 24 October 2022, the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies (Plaza de la Marina Española, 2, 28071, Madrid) will host the presentation of the book Rule of Law, Democracy and Globalisation. An approach to the Venice Commission on its 30th anniversary.​​

The event will be attended by Yolanda Gómez, Director of the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies, Manuel Montobbio, Ambassador Permanent Representative of Spain to the Council of Europe, Simona Granata-Menghini, Director-Secretary of the Venice Commission, Josep Mª Castellà, Professor of Constitutional Law, Marcelino Oreja, Secretary General of the Council of Europe from 1984 to 1989, Gianni Buquicchio, President Emeritus and High Representative of the Venice Commission, Álvaro Gil-Robles, Former Ombudsman and Former Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, and José Luis Vargas, Magistrate of the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary of Mexico.
