Spain condemns the attacks by Houthi militias against ships in the Red Sea, in line with what was expressed by the United Nations Security Council last January.
These attacks are a flagrant violation of freedom of navigation, a fundamental principle of international law that Spain has always defended.
The Government of Spain supports international efforts to maintain freedom of navigation in the Red Sea.
