The emergency phone is EXCLUSIVELY for emergencies affecting Spanish citizens, such as lost documents, accidents, disappearances, and urgent situations.
This number will not be used for other matters such as visa information or other procedures that can be handled during normal office hours. If you need any information, you may contact the Embassy of Spain in Tehran in person or send your inquiry by email to emb.teheran@maec.es / emb.teheran.sc@maec.es
Please be aware that if you use the emergency number for inquiries, you may be preventing other people who are truly at risk from contacting the Embassy.
Consular Issues:
Please note that NIE (Foreigner Identification Number) applications do not guarantee the issuance of a visa or residence permit.
It is also important to mention that no intermediary is required to carry out procedures at this Embassy (NIE, visas of any kind, legalizations, etc.).
Consular procedures will be carried out during business hours, Sunday to Thursday, by appointment only, which can be requested at emb.teheran@maec.es or emb.teheran.sc@maec.es .
If you wish to request a legalization, visa, or NIE application, please email emb.teheran.sc@maec.es.
