PREVISTA LA EXTENSIÓN DE VALIDEZ DE VISADOS

Ayer día 22, en debate parlamentario se acordó extender la vigencia de los visados que hayan caducado durante el lockdown de las personas que se encuentran en SA, hasta el 31 de octubre. Esta decisión, aunque aún no ha sido reflejada en una norma legal, Sí puede encontrares en el último párrafo de la minuta del “DEBATE ON THE HOME AFFAIRS BUDGET VOTE – 5. DR AARON MOTSOALEDI, MINISTER OF HOME AFFAIRS. NATIONAL ASSEMBLY. 22 JULY 2020, 16H15.”

“…At the beginning of the lockdown we announced that all permits and visas that expire intra-lockdown will be deemed to have been extended up to the 31 July 2020.
I am happy to announce that the Department will review this extension from 31st July 2020 to 31st October 2020. I will be signing a Government Gazette to amend the Regulations to provide for this in a short while but definitely before the 31st July 2020...”
