The Spanish Embassy in Pretoria would like to inform that Schengen visas applications can be submitted directly at the Consular Section of the Embassy.
 
Previous appointments have to be made by sending an email to emb.pretoria.vis@maec.es with the name, contact details (email and phone) and passport number of the applicant.
 
Applicants must come personally to submit their visa applications unless they have previous Schengen visa issued.
 
Applications submitted in Pretoria take 5 working days for processing.  Some applications may require further processing, which could take from 14-30 days. Please note that all applications are processed individually. The Visa Officer may invite the applicant for an interview or request further documentation or information, which can prolong the processing time.
 
Applicants are free to apply up to 90 days prior to their date of travel. The Consulate recommends that applicants should apply at least 3 weeks prior to their date of travel to accommodate any unforeseen processing delays.
