PCC legalization process for Nepalese documents

  • This legalization procedure is EXCLUSIVELY valid for individuals affected by the extraordinary regularization process in Spain.
  • Online process does not exist. It is a strictly in-person process.
  • Only applicants who follow the procedure step by step will be entertained. The Embassy will not be responsible for any delays if instructions are not followed properly.
  • Please refrain from sending multiple emails or forwarding the email to different email ID.


STEPS

FIRST: Obtain the legalization of the PCC by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal. 

SECOND: Obtain the legalization of the PCC by the Consular Section of the Embassy of Spain in New Delhi. 

  • It is requested to schedule an appointment by sending an email to emb.nu​evadelhi.nac@maec.es. 
  • The appointment must be requested at least 5 working days prior to the date of submission.
  • Maximum processing time is 5 working days.
  • Appointment can be offered on individual basis or in groups:
1. Requirements for Individual appointment:
  • Email subject: PCC_Name and Surname_Regularization process​
  • Scanned copy of the legalized PCC for the purpose of prior verification. Only one PCC per person will be accepted.
  • If the applicant in whose name PCC is issued cannot visit the Embassy, he/she shall authorize a third person to carry out the process. The authorized person must present an authorization letterSe abre en ventana nueva along with a document for identity proof.
2. Requirements for Group appointment:
  • Email subject: PCC_GROUP_Regularization process​
  • Maximum limit per groups is 50 PCC
  • Scanned copy of the legalized PCC for the purpose of prior verification. Only one PCC per person will be accepted.
  • Authorization letter​Se abre en ventana nueva authorizing the person carrying out the process in the name of PCC holder.​
  • Data of all the applicants as per following sheetSe abre en ventana nueva.
  • Instructions for payment
1. Cash only (exact amout of INR 799/- per legalization). 
2. Payment is not refundable.

THIRD: On the appointment date, original PCC PCC and/or authorization letter must be submitted​. PCC photocopies CANNOT be legalized.
