This is to inform all lndian nationals, holding ordinary Indian passport, that the Spanish authorities, in accordance with the Schengen regulations regarding the visas has decided to adopt the following measures:
- Eliminate the requirement of airport transit visa (TAP) for all lndian nationals, holders of ordinary Indian passport transiting through international zones of the airports in Spain.
- This decision will come into effect from 04th March 2026.
- Therefore, from 04th March 2026 onwards, all Indian nationals holding ordinary passports and transiting through a Spanish airport will not be required to hold a valid airport transit visa.
