The Deputy President advocated for the regulation of AI and algorithms in the employment market and in work relations. "AI can destroy everything or it can change everything; the debate is how to organize this new field so that employment standards and human rights are respected," warned Díaz.
The Vice President insisted that we should not fear AI or see it as an adversary, but rather as a tool that can be used beneficially and responsibly, recalling that Spain was a pioneer in regulating the Rider Law, based on the conviction that all information related to the field of employment affairs must be transparent and accessible to workers. "Far from being afraid of data, we must use it for the benefit of society and workers," emphasized the Deputy President.
