For two weeks, ten Spanish companies from the Life Sciences and Advanced Technology sectors presented their projects in the United Kingdom, where they learned about the British ecosystem and business opportunities.
The Embassy welcomed the participants and the promoters of the initiative, organized by ICEX and the St John Innovation Centre. Ambassador Aparici highlighted the importance of initiatives like DESAFIA SCIENCE, which allow Spanish start-ups to expand internationally, and encouraged the participants to "use the lessons learned in the United Kingdom." Certificates of participation in the programme were then awarded.
