Topics of mutual interest covered during the meeting included Spanish investment in Wales, the modernisation of its rail network, Wales' relations with the Autonomous Communities in Spain, the post-Brexit situation, and the desire to promote educational exchanges, paying particular attention to the Welsh Taith programme and the UK's reintegration into Erasmus+.
Ambassador Aparici conveyed her desire to visit Wales soon and strengthen relations.
