Subsequently, Elvira Lindo visited the Cervantes Institute, where she spoke with the academic Maite Usoz, reflecting on her writing and the influence of her personal experiences.
On Sunday the 22nd, as part of the Oxford Literary Festival, the writer presented the narrative and visual performance "The Boy and the Beast," based on one of her works.
Elvira Lindo rose to fame in the 1990s with the children's book series "Manolito Gafotas". Since then, in addition to her literary work, she has worked in film as a screenwriter, actor, and co-director. She also collaborates with various media outlets and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cervantes Institute as an elected member.
