The Ambassador and the Head of the British Employers' Association reviewed the current strength of Spanish-British relations, as demonstrated by the increase in exports and imports between the two countries. In fact, the United Kingdom is Spain's main trading partner outside the EU.
Ambassador Aparici also expressed Spain's strong commitment to fostering closer ties between the European Union and the United Kingdom, with a view to reaching agreements that benefit both economies.
