The Ambassador, José Pascual Marco, highlighted the importance of tourism for Spain and our country's commitment to a sustainable and inclusive tourism. The Director General of Turespaña announced the presentation of the award to Luis Gallego, CEO of International Airlines Group, a conglomerate that includes Iberia and British Airways, committed to reducing its emissions of CO2 by 10% in 2030.
Prizes were also awarded in the fields of content creation, and there were several recognitions for articles dedicated to sustainable tourism.
