The Embassy participated in the ceremony to remember the victims of the London Bridge and Borough Market attacks

Held to mark the ninth anniversary of the attacks, the event brought together local authorities, religious leaders, and members of the community

During the event, tribute was paid to the victims, the emergency services, and the individuals who provided assistance to those affected by the attacks.​

Speeches emphasised the community’s unity and resilience in overcoming the tragedy while remembering those who lost their lives.

The Embassy laid a wreath in memory of the deceased, paying special tribute to Ignacio Echeverría, the ‘skateboard hero’, who lost his life confronting the terrorists in defence of other victims.
