The Royal Society of London for the Advancement of Natural Science is the oldest in the world in its field, and has hosted personalities such as Stephen Hawking, Newton, Severo Ochoa or Ramón y Cajal, as well as several dozen Nobel Prize winners. In 2011, it was awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Communications and Humanities.
