The Finnish diplomat takes over from the Spanish Ambassador, Pedro Serrano
The two representatives discussed EU-UK relations, with a particular focus on youth mobility, trade, citizens' rights, and security and defence. The Spanish Ambassador conveyed Spain's desire to strengthen relations between Brussels and London and to play a significant role in them, building on the excellent understanding between Spain and the United Kingdom.
