The Spanish representative went to the University of Bristol, where he met the Dean, Evelyn Welch, and gave a conference in which he spoke about global challenges and the relations of Spain and the European Union with the United Kingdom.
The Ambassador also held a meeting with the Mayor, Marvin Rees, with whom he conversed about the important role of cities, and met with economic officials and local investors, analysing channels of economic collaboration between Spain and the English city.
The visit concluded with a meeting with the managers of the Spanish company Navantia, which has one of its headquarters in Bristol.
