Ms. Tsikhanouskaya thanked Spain for its support against the dictatorship of Alexander Lukashenko. Consequently, she recalled the invitation to the recent Summit of the European Political Community held in Granada, where she met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Albares and attended a dinner with His Majesty the King and Queen at the Alhambra.
The Belarusian leader insisted on the importance of keeping the flame of the democratic struggle alive in her country and preventing it from disappearing from the European and global agenda. She encouraged strengthening the sanctions system and holding the Belarusian dictator responsible for his actions and his participation in the aggression against Ukraine.
