Please be informed that following the regulation issued by the Spanish Ministry of Health:
Non-EU citizens on essential travel (such as long-term visa holders) and EU citizens aged 12 and older can enter Spain from Australia if they show either a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test certificate or a COVID-19 recovery certificate.
Non-EU citizens aged 12 and older travelling from Australia on non-essential travel (tourism) must show valid proof of being fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain or a COVID-19 recovery certificate.
At least 11 days must have passed since your first positive COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification test - NAAT (PCR or similar) or rapid antigen test.
Non-EU citizens traveling from Australia aged 12 to 17 inclusive are able to enter Spain by presenting either proof that they are fully vaccinated or documentation certyifying that they have undertaken a COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification test - NAAT (PCR or similar) within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain.
From 1 February, vaccination certificates will only be valid for 270 days from the administration of the last vaccine dose.
All travellers (including children), regardless their citizenship, must complete a public health form. It can be done online at the Spain Travel Health website
or through the free application SPAIN TRAVEL HEALTH-sp TH. Once the form is filled in, the traveler will receive a QR code to be shown at departure and upon arrival in Spain.
