All foreign public documents must be translated into Spanish and apostilled by the competent Authority of the issuing country according to the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961, unless said document is exempt from legalization under the International Convention.​

IMPORTANT CHANGES IF YOUR VISA APPLICATION REQUIRE TO SUBMIT RCMP CRIMINAL RECORD CERTIFICATE.​

As of January 11, 2024, competent authorities in some provinces will be responsible for issuing an apostille and Global Affairs Canada will be responsible for issuing apostilles for documents issued by the Government of Canada and for documents issued or notarized in specific provinces and territories. On the link below, you will find full details of the changes. RCPM Criminal Record Certificate must be also translte into Spanish language before to submit your visa application.
