The Consulate General of Spain will participate, in collaboration with Spanish World HK, and Spanish Bookstore, at the HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair 2026. The Book Fair will take place from Wednesday 15 to Tuesday 21 July at the HKCEC. On Monday 20 July, at the World of Art and Culture zone on 1/F, Spanish World HK and Spanish Bookstore will also host a talk ¨The world through the eyes of Antoni Gaudí¨, as well as an art workshop. Description of the activity:
Antoni Gaudí was a visionary Spanish architect who revolutionized Catalan Modernism through vibrant, nature-inspired designs. Famous for surreal masterpieces built in different places around Barcelona, his creative genius transformed Spain's architectural landscape.
The year 2026 is profoundly historic for Spain because it marks the centenary of Gaudí's death. The country is honoring his entire legacy, highlighted by the recent inauguration of the iconic Sagrada Família's tallest central tower.
The activity will consist of a reading about Gaudí, followed by a workshop where the participants will create some art to appreciate Gaudí's work with mosaics: like the famous Salamander mosaic in Parc Güell. Most suitable for kids and teenagers.

活動簡介：
安東尼·高第是一位富有遠見的西班牙建築師，他以充滿活力、靈感源自自然的建築設計革新了加泰隆尼亞現代主義。他以在巴塞隆納各地建造的傑作而聞名，其創造力改變了西班牙的建築格局。
2026年對西班牙而言意義非凡，因為這一年是高第逝世一百週年。西班牙舉國上下都在緬懷他的全部遺產，其中最引人注目的是近期落成的標誌性建築——聖家堂最高中央塔樓。
本次活動將包括閱讀高迪生平簡介，隨後舉辦工作坊，參與者將創作藝術作品來欣賞高迪的馬賽克作品，例如著名的奎爾公園裡的“蠑螈"馬賽克。活動特別適合兒童和青少年。
