Este Consulado mantiene sus horarios de atención al público como siempre. Sin embargo, para evitar su cierre en el caso de contagios o contactos próximos (lo que ya ha ocurrido), semanas atrás se establecieron dos turnos de trabajo semanales según los cuales la mitad de su personal disponible realiza su jornada presencialmente mientras que la otra mitad lo hace en teletrabajo. During Quarantine, the confinee must observe the Quarantine Order and stay inside the hotel room at a Designated Quarantine Hotel to undergo compulsory quarantine (until 11:59 pm on the last day). Leaving the room and visitation without prior authorisation is not allowed. The confinee must call hotel receptionist in advance for arranging check out time. He/She must NOT walk out of room or use lifts without hotel arrangement. A confinee who has left the hotel room without permission will be prosecuted. The Government will ensure that the confines are staying at the designated hotels by spot checks and telephone calls, etc. The Government has also arranged a dedicated team to inspect the designated hotels. CCTV records kept by hotels may be used for prosecution purpose.

Implementation of special COVID-19 testing arrangement for outbound travellers to Mainland by air

From March 29, persons travelling to the Mainland and Macao via the Hong Kong International Airport are required to hold a negative result of the additional rapid nucleic acid test when they check in for the flights. The additional rapid nucleic acid test must be conducted at the designated testing venue at the airport within eight hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the aircraft. However, the result of this special test cannot replace the proof of negative result of any self-paid nucleic acid test as currently required by relevant authorities of the Mainland and Macao. The Government will arrange a testing institution to provide the aforementioned special testing service for free 24 hours daily. Persons travelling to the Mainland and Macao via the Hong Kong International Airport should reserve the testing service via the website of the relevant testing institution. From 29 March 2022, departing passengers to Mainland China and Macao via Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) are required to hold a negative result of the additional rapid nucleic acid test when they check in for the flights. The additional rapid nucleic acid test must be conducted at the designated testing venue at HKIA within eight hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the aircraft. In order to ensure sufficient time to complete the check-in and clearance procedures after obtaining a negative test result, relevant outbound travellers should allow ample time for travelling to the airport and undergo the test at least 5 to 6 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure.
Relevant passengers should reserve the testing service free-of-charge via the website of the relevant testing institution (https://projectscreen.co/predeparture-china/).
The result of the above special testing arrangement cannot replace the proof of negative result of any self-paid nucleic acid test as currently required by relevant authorities of Mainland China and Macao. Relevant passengers would still be subject to the quarantine and testing arrangements of their destinations, and should take note of the latest quarantine and testing requirements of relevant Mainland and Macao authorities.

The Immigration Department (ImmD) announced that in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a new facilitation measure will be implemented with effect from April 8, namely that eligible non-permanent residents who are outside Hong Kong may apply for an extension of stay. Tentatively, the validity of the new measure will expire on December 31, 2022. Depending on the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ImmD will review whether to extend the measure in due course.
Except for the Hong Kong International Airport, Shenzhen Bay and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Control Points, clearance services in other immigration control points will remain suspended until further notice. Operating hours have been adjusted.

Inmigración resolverá discrecionalmente caso por caso en función de las circunstancias y la motivación alegada. En todo caso, se deberá presentar el resguardo de solicitud de nuevo pasaporte cuando esté pendiente su renovación a través del Consulado.
Según informa Inmigración, en caso de terminación o rescisión del contrato de trabajo, se podrá permanecer en HK hasta la fecha de caducidad del visado. En caso de obtener nuevo empleo, se deberá comunicar a los servicios de Inmigración.

All foreign residents (not holding Macao, Hong Kong, China or Taiwan passports) and foreigners with Non-resident Worker's Identification Card (Macao Blue Card), except having the exemption in a limited number of important purposes regarding Macao´s General Interests, will be denied entry into Macao.
Foreign residents, aged 12 or above, with Hong Kong Permenant ID, fully vaccinated for more than 14 days with the last vaccine within the last 7 months, not staying in places outside mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan 21 days prior to intended travel, could travel to Macao, subject to quarantine. Those younger than 12 of age, and those with a medical certificate of unsuitability for COVID-19 vaccination will be exempt. The requirement of supporting documents and the number of days of quarantine vary according to where you were staying in the last 21 days.

Conexiones entre Macao y Hong Kong
No se puede viajar a Macao a través del aeropuerto internacional de Hong Kong.
Cualquier persona que actualmente se encuentre en Macao y que desee viajar al extranjero a través del Aeropuerto Internacional de Hong Kong deberá utilizar el servicio de autobús “Golden Bus", y se someterá a su llegada al test COVID-19 y posterior cuarentena de 14 días, salvo que haya sido exceptuado del cumplimiento de la cuarentena por motivos humanitarios, en cuyo caso se exigirá una prueba COVID-19 realizada 48 horas antes de embarcar.

Entrada en España: actualmente, se exige a todas las personas que lleguen a España alguno de los siguientes certificados:
a) Certificado de vacunación: que confirme que el titular ha recibido una pauta de vacunación contra la COVID-19 valida.
b) Certificado de prueba diagnóstica: que confirme que el titular se ha realizado una prueba diagnóstica negativa. En el caso de PCR, cuya muestra haya sido obtenida dentro de las 72 horas anteriores a la llegada a España. En el caso de test de detección de antígeno incluidos en la lista común de test rápidos de detección de antígeno para COVID-19, cuya muestra haya sido obtenida dentro de las 24 horas anteriores a la llegada a España.
c) Certificado de recuperación: que confirme que, tras un resultado positivo de una prueba diagnóstica, el titular se ha recuperado de una infección por el SARS-CoV-2.
La Resolución de 1 de abril de 2022 de la Dirección General de Salud Pública, relativa a los controles sanitarios a realizar en los puntos de entrada de España ha mantenido los periodos de vigencia de los certificados a presentar. Por consiguiente, su vigencia es la siguiente:
· Certificados de vacunación (apartado Cuarto de la Resolución). Serán válidos a partir de los 14 días posteriores a la fecha de administración de la última dosis de la pauta vacunal completa, siempre y cuando no hayan transcurrido más de 270 días desde la fecha de administración de la última dosis de dicha pauta. A partir de ese momento, el certificado deberá reflejar la administración de una dosis de refuerzo, con excepción de los certificados de vacunación de las personas menores de 18 años, que seguirán siendo válidos.
· Certificados de recuperación (apartado Sexto de la Resolución). Serán válidos cuando hayan sido expedidos como mínimo 11 días después de la realización de la primera prueba diagnóstica NAAT o test de detección de antígeno con resultado positivo realizada por profesionales sanitarios o personal cualificado y tendrán una validez de 180 días después de la fecha del primer resultado positivo de prueba diagnóstica.

En todo caso y dada la volatilidad de la situación, se recomienda la consulta previa de eventuales requisitos adicionales con su compañía aérea y, en su caso, el consulado del país de tránsito.
Obligación de cumplimentar el formulario de Spain Travel Health
Hasta el 6 de abril de 2022 era obligatorio que todos los viajeros que accedieran a España cumplimentaran el formulario de Spain Travel Health. Con la entrada en vigor de la Resolución de 1 de abril de 2022, dicho trámite dejará de ser preceptivo para aquellas personas provistas de un Certificado COVID Digital de la Unión Europea o equivalente válido. Sin embargo, todavía no se ha acordado la equivalencia con el certificado de HK, cuyas autoridades suspendieron las negociaciones en enero pasado. Orden INT/236/2022, de 28 de marzo por la que se prorroga la Orden INT/657/2020, de 17 de julio, por la que se modifican los criterios para la aplicación de una restricción temporal de viajes no imprescindibles desde terceros países a la Unión Europea y países asociados Schengen por razones de orden público y salud pública con motivo de la crisis sanitaria ocasionada por el COVID-19.
