Deputy Director General for Andean Community Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Director of the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Ibero-America.
Director General for Foreign Policy for Ibero-America (2008-2010).
Director General for Ibero-America (2010-2011).
Ambassador of Spain to Peru (2011-2015). He presented his credentials to President Ollanta Humala on January 10, 2012.
Consul General of Spain in Santiago, Chile (2015-2019). Consul General of Spain in Los Angeles (United States) from 2019 to 2024.
He holds several prestigious Spanish and foreign decorations.
