The Spanish Embassy in London is in constant touch with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and with the British Department of Transport. The Single Brexit Window of the Spanish Embassy and Consular Offices in the United Kingdom continue to provide assistance and information to Spanish citizens who require it, among other aspects, in relation to the movement of passengers and trucks in the English Channel.
For its part, the Spanish Embassy in France indicates that the French Government maintains, at this time, its intention to reopen land and sea traffic as from midnight tonight on Tuesday, 22 December, after performing PCR or antigen tests on drivers and passengers.
In this regard, the possibility of the traffic restrictions on trucks in the English Channel being partially lifted today will mean, if this is confirmed, the gradual recovery of normality in the movement of goods between the United Kingdom and continental Europe as of tomorrow.
